Warcraft Review Says, It’s a huge disappointment but still worth a Star for Outstanding VFX’s.
Spoilers Alert : Heavy Spoilers Ahead for Warcraft Movie.
Warcraft Review – The Beginning Is The Ending
Legendary Video Game comes to life on the Big Silver Screen but except VFX, it’s a huge disappointment, there is no story worth watching.
However, the plot adapted from the first game Warcraft: Orc’s & Humans, but still it doesn’t feel like a Fantastic Movie but the CGI are looks awesome and it is the only thing in the movie which stays with the plot.
Warcraft story and characters are entertaining, no doubt but largely flat, in other words it’s a movie you doesn’t at all the moment you leave your seat.
Under the leadership of the evil sorcerer Gul’dan (Daniel Wu) the Orc’s intend to colonize the Azeroth. However, the Orc’s themselves divided into several tribes and not at all friendly to each other.
This tale definitely not helping much by the cast and characters but still there is one character who is remarkably great, Toby Kebbell’s Durotan is the most complex character in the movie and he does have a genuine performance underneath all the ones and zeroes.
Warcraft lacks of Wonder, Humor and Excitement and in the battle scenes, the large scenes turn their numbers into a soup of CGI, So, there is no performance performed by real humans, it’s all Computer-Generated-Imagery.
Warcraft is a competent mediocrity with more performance and heart coming from the efforts of the Magic Technicians and that’s annoying but you know what’s most annoying thing? It’s just the beginning, you’ll get to see a another part of Warcraft whether you want it or not.
But it seems Duncan Jones doesn’t care about that but Warcraft again proves that video games with their artificially environment and never ending stories doesn’t translate to Cinematic Universe.
Warcraft: The Beginning Movie will hit theaters on June 10.
