Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems just announced the Underworld Blood Wars release date has officially moved from previously announced 14th October 2016 to January 6, 2017.
It will now open the same day as the Tom Cruise Starer upcoming action and thriller film Mena.
Now, the Underworld Franchise sequel will now arrive three months later on January 6, featuring Kate Beckinsale as Selene who is killing the Lycans who allegedly slaughtered her family.
Underworld Blood Wars storyline follows:
“A new, younger generation of vampires and werewolves are embroiled in a supernatural race war”.
It is the fifth installment in Underworld Franchise and previous four Underworld movies have grossed $460 Million worldwide at the box offices.
It’s been over four years since the last Underworld Franchise flick hit theaters and now Box Office Mojo confirmed the delay, which revealed that the Underworld: Blood Wars has been pushed back from October 2016 to early 2017.
Underworld Blood Wars is an upcoming action, adventure & fantasy movie which is directed by Anna Foerster and featuring stars Kate Beckinsale as Selene, Theo James as David, Tobias Menzies and Lara Pulver will reprise their respective roles as Lycan Leader and Vampire respectively.
Underworld: Blood Wars will hit theaters on January 6, 2017.
