Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Review says,
What was that?
Are you kidding me?
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is not for adults at all but has plenty of nostalgic for the old cartoons, what else could describe a talking and half finished compute generated brain?
Out of the Shadows is a chewed piece of bubblegum, totally incomprehensible madness.
The movie plots centers around the Turtles wanting to take credits for saving the world in last movie, but the matter might be taken out of hands because now April O’Neil has learned that Shredder is planning to break him free while en route and the Ninja’s are the only hope for her and the city but later Shredder ends up being freed by Kraang, he wants Shredder and Stockman to collects two keys and they both are on different locations, that will allow him to invade the Earth and take over the world.
Also Stephen Amell (mostly known for his character in Arrow) is in the movie as Casey Jones who’s an Ex-Cop and Roller Skating Vigilante.
However, the movie plot, characters and structure even the Turtles themselves are mostly perfunctory. TMNT Out of the Shadoes got jokes, no doubt but it’s all looks more perfunctory especially when they’re trying to be Serious and somehow it does feature more Entertainment than it’s 2014’s predecessor.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is definitely a master-piece in VFX and representing the characters but the story and characters itself won’t live-up to that hype.
In the end, still not the worst superhero movie of the year but also no where near in the top list, especially this season where Batman is tried to kill Superman in his own movie and changed the DC Upcoming Movies future too.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Out of the Shadows is out now.
