Now You See Me: The Second Act Review
2013’s Now You See Me was a action surprise for audience and nowadays it is much difficult to find the originality in a sequence, we have a complete list of bad examples of sequels but let’s not go there and stay focus on Summit Entertainment another sequel Now You See Me 2 which will hit theaters on June 10.
Now You See Me 2 will take you to the Roller-Coaster ride and it’s definitely great movie, a Group of Magicians calling themselves the Four Horseman who use their elaborate magic shows to rob from rich and give to the poor, just like Robin-hood and ended up connecting with audience.
Now You See Me 2 follows a year after the Four Horseman disbanded and went into hiding but later they’re called back to perform at a Tech-Conference which ends up being a trap of course.
Daniel Radcliffe’s Walter Mabry who’s a tech millionaire, sends the Four Horseman on a mission to steal a drive full of information from his competitor and they have to do this mission otherwise, he will kill them.
Now You See Me: The Second Act is being quite as enjoyable as the Original Movie but still it has minor defects which leads our review a down little bit.
A Simple idea to steal the drive and place it inside a fake card and then use a bit of sleight of hands to get it past security is turned into a long sequence and it definitely feels like you knew what will happens next but still waiting for them to do so.
Remember Mark Ruffalo‘s FBI Agent Character Dylan Rhodes from Now You See Me, is given far more to do so instead of chasing The Four Horseman and you’ll definitely learned a lot more about him and the new face Daniel Radcliffe is constantly amusing as Mabry who ends up being one of the major antagonist in Now You See Me 2.
Now You See Me 2 is good enough to Entertain & Amaze you at the same time.
Now You See Me 2 will hit theaters on June 10.
