This is perhaps NASA‘s most stunning discovery as they have found not one, not two but SEVEN Earth-Like Planets orbiting a Star just like our Sun and they’re just 40 Light Years Away.
NASA just revealed that it has found the strongest candidates that fit that description for an Alien life and they are right here in our solar neighbourhood.
NASA Just announced in a press conference that it’s Spitzer Space Telescope discovered Earth-Like seven planets orbiting a dwarf star called TRAPPIST-1 which is just 40 light years away or 3.784e+14 km.
NASA also said,
“Around a nearby, cold, small star we found 7 rocky Earth-size planets, all of which could have liquid water – key to life as we know it.”
According to Scientists who are associated with this amazing discovery, they’re optimistic about one thing that even if the seven newly discovered planet do not have Alien life or life right now, chances of life evolving on them are very high.
Here’s the official tweet by NASA.
