Is X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn joining Man of Steel 2?
Those who don’t know Matthew Vaughn, he’s the director of Kick-Ass, Kingsman: Secret Service and X-Men: First Class and according to recent rumours, you might get Matthew as the director for Man of Steel 2.
Of Course, Man of Steel 2 release date is far away but there are very good chances that Zack Snyder will not direct Man of Steel 2.
Warner Bros has been in a tough spot with Zack Snyder lately and especially when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice failed at the box office.
On the other hand, Matthew Vaughn has a pretty good track record so far and DC might put Matthew on Man of Steel 2 as the fans of Superman thought that he is not getting the treatment he deserves.
DCEU fans are fine with The Dark Knight, Ben Affleck is a great Batman, maybe the best one so far but Henry Cavil‘s Superman also top notch and now DC has finally decided to take care of Superman after Justice League.
Of Course, it’s a rumour, there are plenty of DC movies before we even go to Man of Steel 2 release date.
On asked about Superman, he said this,
“I think that’s the one thing not to do with Superman, trying to do the serious The Dark Knight version. Superman is about colour and fun, or it should be, for me.”
Well, it’s true. Superman is not The Dark Knight, and he never will be but that doesn’t mean he didn’t deserve a good movie.
The only question remains, If Matthew Vaughn is directing the Man of Steel 2, that means Zack Snyder is out of The DCEU?
