It looks like WB’s in a war for the director’s chair of The Batman Movie. But at last Warner Bros has decided to make a choice and confirmed Matt Reeves, the director of Cloverfield to direct the Batman Movie.
The previous week, Ben Affleck stepped down from directing the Batman for Warner Bros. and that’s when Matt Reeves came into existence for WB.
Ben Affleck also released a statement when he vacated the Batman’s chair, he said:
“Performing this role demands focus, passion and the very best performance I can give. It has become clear that I cannot do both jobs to the level they require. Together with the studio, I have decided to find a partner in a director who will collaborate with me on this massive film”
Since every previous Warner Bros movies have failed to perform at box office and the movies are struggled to connect with critics.
To impress critics and to show the fans of DC that Justice League will be a light film, Warner Bros has invited several social media to their Justice League set and showed them a small footage from the film.
Now, according to critics and fans who saw the footage can tell that it’s going to be a very fun movie. Justice League is not Batman v Superman.
But here’s the problem rises again as The Batman movie is scheduled to release next to Justice League and you can’t say The Batman movie will be light because it can’t and it won’t happen.
Batman is the official Dark Knight and it’s going to be very Dark and let’s see if Matt Reeves can transform Warner Bros faith.
What do you think of Matt as the director for Ben Affleck’s Batman Movie?
