Ubisoft’s latest Ghost Recon Series Video Game, Ghost Recon Wildlands is in big trouble after Bolivia lodges a complaint with French ambassador on Ghost Recon Wildland’s Bolivia Drug Cartel Theme.
The Game was launched yesterday on all platforms including PS4, Xbox One and PC‘s and within a day it created a chaos for Wildlands developers on Bolivia’s Drug Cartel Theme.
Bolivian Government has lodged a formal complaint with the French embassy over the portrayal of the country in the recently released Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
The game is set in 2019 where Mexican drug cartel has taken full control of Bolivia in just two years, turned it into a narco-state, supporting its $2 Billion per week cocaine export business.
According to Ubisoft,
“the game takes place in a modern universe inspired by reality, but the characters, locations and stories are all fantasies created solely for entertainment purposes,”
